Energy Source(s)|Renewable Energy|All electricity sold in CT includes a mandatory amount of renewable energy certificates, referred to as Connecticut's Renewable Portfolio Standard or RPS. The RPS for 2021 is 30.5% and will increase annually to 48% in 2030.
Fixed Price|Fixed Price|Price is fixed for at least four billing cycles. All residential offers after October 2015 must be fixed and cannot convert to variable pricing. Business offers can convert from fixed to variable pricing.
Tiered Offers|Tiered Offers|Price is fixed for at least four billing cycles, then changes to another fixed price of at least four billing cycles for the remainder of the contract.
Variable(business)|Variable|Price can change at pre-defined intervals such as one complete billing cycle or within the billing cycle (e.g., daily, weekly). Business customers only.

Term of Offer|Term of Offer|The meter reading date is the start of your bill cycle. Offers begin, and prices change, on your meter reading date. Enroll or switch at least 10 business days before your meter reading date.
Fees|Fees|Residential cancellation fees are capped at $50. Cancellation fees for business customers are not capped. Enrollment fees are optional and should be considered when estimating your savings.
