Smart-E logsEnergizeCT has partnered with lenders in your community to offer long-term, low-interest financing for your smart energy upgrade.

Below are the Smart-E rates and terms available.  Note that rates are the maximum allowed by the program and some lenders may offer lower rates.

You're eligible if your residence is:

  • 1-4 units (condominiums must be individually metered)
  • Owner-occupied
  • Your primary residence and located Connecticut
  • Mobile homes not eligible for Solar PV, Solar Hot Water and Geothermal.

    Your lender will reach out to schedule a closing once the loan is approved
  • Sit back and enjoy the savings!

  • Get pre-approved at a participating lender.
    Apply directly to the lender. Either before you start working with a contractor, or once you have selected a contractor and decided which improvements you will be making.
  • Find a Contractor to make your energy improvements.
    Your contractor will do Smart-E loan technical approvals on your behalf. If your contractor is not on this list, have them contact us at smarte@ctcleanenergy.com to get approved.
  • Close your loan with your lender.
    Your lender will reach out to schedule a closing once the loan is approved.
  • Sit back and enjoy the savings!
